Personal

Born to Gaylen & Joan Nagel in Stevens Point,  Wisconsin. A SPASH Graduate of 1996, and UWSP Graduate of 2004.   Currently reside in Plover, Wisconsin with wife Sheri, a UW-Oshkosh Graduate student and Crisis Counselor for CAP Services along with our two children Nicholas and Shaelyn.

Enlisted as a Private / E-1 in 1995 as a howitzer cannon crew member, and completed Airborne School in 1999.  I finished the ROTC program at UWSP, but choice to take my commission through Officer Candiate School in 2003.  Graduated of IOBC along with Ranger School in 2004, and later Reconnaissance & Surveillance Leader Course.   A recent Combat Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom 05-07 and currently servicing as an Infantry Officer in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. 

 

 

These day I primarily enjoy time with my family and professional studies to improve myself as a father, husband, Financial Representative or as an Army Officer.  And from time to time I enjoy some hunting, fishing, camping, golf, rugby, soccer, or biking in whatever time life permits.
